After a bit of research I found out, that the games are always priced in USD, even in Germany.

So at the end of the day it was my fault only. ))o: I thought the pricing is different between Germany and the US since a strong Euro makes the games cheaper and vise versa and my oppinion was that the steams store is managing the pricing in regards to the currency exchange ratio, so that Germans don't get the game cheaper just because the Dollar went down. But thats exactly what they are doing.  :idea:

With my wrong assumption, I've opened a new account here in the US (US -IP Adress) and registred my Dirt 2 copy with that account.

This sim is amazing and the level of realism is so very awesome. Just the start up procedure alone has like 50 steps and with having to actually fly using real navigation techniques. All I can say is wow. With pretty cool coop and dm maps that are HUGE. Huge does not really explain this sim. The maps seem to be 100's if not 1000's o square miles of bad ass HC killing. There is TONS of AI going on. You not only have to worry about your fellow online gamers flying around trying to score a kill on you, but also the SMART and DEADLY AI. Imagine, as in real life, a military group operating in a deployment scenario has a multitude of aire and area defense weapon systems. Well this sim has them ALL.  The game play is dead on and it is not all that easy to kill or be killed. This is def not your jump in fly and kill sim. It takes practice and time!

Another really cool things is with the new patch that just came out. Flaming Cliffs, which is a Lock on variant works with DCS:BS. Yes that is right the two separate sims can work together on line. So to explain further: Last night I was trying out the multilayer for the first time and was on a server with guys/gals flying the Ka-50 Hokum , the main character in DCS:BS, along with other gamers flying in A-10's. I was not that successful in kills, but got basic flight and nav down. I was how ever shot down several times by gents in A-10's with side winders and several mobile SAM units.

There is a pretty hard core squadron community that sims regularly and lots of information available out there.

In this gamers own opinion DCS:Black Shark is a must have for the HC gamer in you. While it is not easy and there is a huge learning curve to flying this sim. It is a total must have for summer 2010.

Call me fan boy or what ever, but I love this sim. Usually I get a new game, for example BFBC2 and finish the SP in a day or so and wear out the MP is pretty short order as well. You will not have this happen in DCS:BS if there was only one map, and there are a whole lot more than that, it is so big that you could plan 100's of missions and not cover all the unique terrain features.
